Even though we have two more markets, this week marks the last one for someone very dear to us. Every, our bike mechanic, is taking off to her next adventure. This will end yet another season where Every provides free bike repair at our little market. We love you Every and thank you so much for all you do for this community! To all of you Pesky folks that has been putting off bringing in your bike to get tuned up- this is it- your last chance.
We’re going to have four vendors at our second to last market. Blue House Farm will be attending. They have informed me that this week they are bringing loads of merchandise to sell. I bought a BHF hat for $10 and I love it. Fly Girl Farm hasn’t caught on that winter is coming because their flower attendance is out of control! They haven’t slowed down on production at all. This is the week to buy flowers for someone special! Farmageddon will also be coming- eggs, applesauce, jams, and jellies! Lastly, and providing us an artistic outlet, is Open Eye Creations bringing driftwood art!
Miguel and Margarito will be returning for the second time this season and will be playing for the full four hours. Miguel is quite the singer/guitarist and Margarito strums the bass. We’re happy to have them back this season!
The Stanford Screen Team will be coming to the market for the first time this season. They will be checking blood pressure and BMI- making sure we’re all in tip top shape! Pie Ranch will be coming back to the market to provide children’s activities for the last time.
A head’s up about our last market on the 29th- we’re going to have a big Dia de los Muertos celebration with pan muerto and hot chocolate. There’s also going to be an altar as well as a labyrinth. Put it on your calendar and more details to come next week!
Can’t wait to see you all- This Thursday!
