We had a successful raffle last week- over 15 people went home as winners !! Thanks to all who came out and made it a special market. Regarding to our countdown that we’ve started- there are only four more markets left! It might be time to buy bulk tomatoes and can one last time before the season is over. I just got done making salsa to hopefully last me through the winter.
Going strong to the end of the season are our three veggie vendors. Blue House Farm, Farmageddon, and Fly Girl Farm have been our rock this season and we want to say thank you! Surprisingly, their stands are still full with lots of variety! The applesauce from Farmageddon is a must try before they run out!
We also will have meat this week! Left Coast GrassFed will be at our market bringing all their beef cuts. If you’re wanting a particular kind of cut you should come early because they go quick!
Providing the tunes this week is a band called Blah Blah Woof Woof (never heard a name like that!) Jay and Rolfe, both guitar players, played for us last year and we really enjoyed them. They also love supporting local farmers so it’s great to have them back at the market.
One of favorite market volunteers, Liz, will be coming back to run children’s activities. She’ll be helping kiddos decorate wooden pumpkins- yay October!
Don’t forget our favorite bike mechanic will be at the market ready to give your wheels a tune up!
This might be your last chance to get meat at the market- make sure you don’t miss out! See you Thursday at 3!.
