Folks- my favorite market is among us! Pescadero’s very own open mic!! Community members will fill 30 minutes with song, poetry, jokes, and rhymes. Here’s our line up for July 7th:

3:00 Every D

3:30 Abby Mohaupt

4:00 Walker Watson

4:30 Nicole Sillapere

5:00 David Hope

5:30 Jeff Stultz

6:00 Mia Riddle

6:30 Marie Smith!!

Bring your dancing shoes and some extra dollars because it’s not easy to get in front a big group of people and perform. Come out and support our locals!

As for the vendors- we have a good looking lineup as well. Bringing the veggies are Blue House Farm, Fly Girl Farm, and Pie Ranch (making their second appearance at the market- glad to have them back!)

Statestreet Honey will be bringing the sweetness and Open Eye Creations will be there with her driftwood art!

HMB Library will be there to provide child activities while the parents are dancing around buying groceries!

Seriously- this is not the market to miss.

See you veggie lovers there.

Locals Pelican Duo at the Market!

Can you believe that we’re about to finish our first month of markets?! Time flies by when the weather is perfect and the music is nice and all your friends and community are around buying veggies, playing chess, and getting their bikes fixed for free… We’ll keep showing up every Thursday so hopefully you all will too and we can enjoy the time together.

Here’s the lineup for this week’s market.

Fly Girl Farm, Blue House Farm, and Farmageddon will be holding down the fort for us like usual. Open Eye Creations will attending as well selling her beautiful driftwood art.

We have the HMB library coming to provide child activities and the Legal Aid Society will be tabling for anyone of you who need or have questions about legal aid…

Then can’t forget that Pelican Duo from La Honda will be providing the tunes at the market this week! We’re stoked to have another full market. Don’t miss out- and if your bike needs a free tuning, bring it on over!

See you Thursday!

Week 3 of the market here we come!

Another week, another market. Come buy veggies or buy some starts to grow your own! At the market this week we have Blue House Farm- I’ve been enjoying their fava beans, Fly Girl Farm- their strawberries are out of control good, and Farmageddon provides the eggs (they have nice lemons too)

Half Moon Bay Library will be attending to provide the child activities- they are bringing the button making station again! If you have a magazine in which you love the images- bring it and make some buttons!

Chinese Melodrama will be playing music for us this week. Randy on the guitar and singing, Lisa on the violin. One of the markets favorite bands!

Puente’s health promoters team will be at the market. They will be helping folks sign up for our token program, suggesting different recipes they use with the fresh produce, and making appointments for Puente’s health clinic!

Also don’t forget that we have free bike repair! Bring your bike in for a tune up!

See you veggie lovers Thursday!

Successful Start to Season #6 of Pescadero Grown!

Wow- what an amazing opening day to our market! We’re so thankful for everyone who came out to support local farmers and to connect with other community members. Never have I ever seen so many people dancing at our little market! Way to set the tone for the season!

Week 2 is looking just as promising as week 1 with a great line up of vendors. Blue House and Fly Girl Farm will be holding the fort down like usual- if you’re interested in starting your own little garden you should come buy starts at the market! Left Coast Grass Fed will be returning this week selling grass fed beef and also pork from the Willow Farm. Our honey guy from State Street Honey will be bringing the sweetness and then Monique from Open Eye Creations will be bringing her driftwood art (great presents- Father’s Day is coming up!)

Pie Ranch will be coming to run children’s activities. I have a feeling that flower bombs will be involved! Also Sonrisas from Half Moon Bay will be at our market giving out toothpaste, toothbrushes, and any information you might need about your dientes.

John Henry Band will be providing the tunes! He’s one of our favorites- don’t miss out! See you this Thursday at 3!
